Synopsis
일본인 활동가 미오가 ‘한국의 히로시마’로 불리는 합천을 방문한다. 원폭 80주년을 기념해 합천에서는 “합천 비핵•평화대회”가 열리고 여러 나라에서 온 원폭 피해와 참상을 알리는 활동가들이 참여한다. 전쟁과 핵의 참혹함은 한 세대를 넘어 대를 잇는 고통이 되었고, 인간과 비인간 모두를 파괴한 중첩된 고통은 그 순간 뿐 아니라 지금, 여기에서도 계속되고 있다. 원폭피해자들의 이야기는 ‘민들레 홀씨’ 처럼 고통을 넘어 연대로, 증언을 넘어 평화의 씨앗으로 세상에 흩날린다.
Japanese activist Mio visits Hapcheon, often called “the Hiroshima of Korea.” To mark the 80th anniversary of the atomic bombing, Hapcheon is hosting the “Hapcheon Anti-Nuclear Peace Conference,” where activists from around the world gather to share the stories and suffering caused by the bomb. The horrors of war and nuclear destruction have become pains that transcend generations, inflicting layered wounds that destroyed both humans and nonhumans — not only in that moment, but here and now as well. The stories of atomic bomb survivors spread like dandelion seeds—transcending pain into solidarity, and transforming testimony into seeds of peace scattered throughout the world.
